Well we went in for Vaughn's 18month check-up and Lucy's 1month yesterday; it's official, they are completely opposite. She was born with long dark hair, his is just about the same length as hers now. She is calm and he was a bit colic. He is still in the lower 10th % for weight and she jumped from 10th to the 80th %! She weighed in at 10lbs 9oz and the dr. even had us weigh her twice because that was a huge jump from her birth weight. Now I won't feel so bad about trying to stretch out her feedings and get more sleep at night.
All in all one is definitely not better than the other. We love them both so very much and think they are adorable and perfect just the way they are. We love both of their personalities. I must say my newborn is great to cuddle but my toddler is so much fun right now.

The Wheels on the Bus
As most little boys, Vaughn loves various vehicles and forms of transportation. We frequently sing "the wheels on the bus..." song and he gets so excited to see them from our kitchen window. Mom had the great idea to go ahead and take him on a bus ride to the park for a family outing. Well he liked the parts about staying close to Dad but wasn't so into it as we had anticipated. Let's just say the baby on the bus almost went whaa whaa whaa. We didn't scar him for life because as soon as we were in the safety of our car and home and he saw them go by he continued to point and joyously exclaim "bus, bus, bus". It is definitely a memory so mission accomplished.

Big Brother
Notice the progression. Vaughn loves to search out Lucy and insist on holding her and if she is hungry, tired, or uncomfortable...don't worry he'll just squeeze her tighter and cuddle to make it all o.k.

Sleeping beauties & more
Not pictured....Mom...this is why she never sleeps because it's too much fun capturing everyone else doing so.
